Departure Dates
This expedition includes 9 days of trekking, 3 nights’ accommodations in Kathmandu, and 2 nights’ accommodations in Pokhara.
Day 1: We pick you up at the airport. Arrive in Kathmandu and check into our OneSeed partner lodge in the heart of the ancient city of Patan. Catch up on some much needed sleep and venture out for some dinner on your own.
Day 2: Spend the day exploring the Kathmandu Valley. Shake the jetlag with a visit to Swayambhunath, the “Monkey Temple”. Take in the views of the city from atop one of the most important Buddhist stupas in Nepal.
Day 3: Travel by van or jeep to Naya Pul, near to the magnificent Fewa Tal, Begnas and gateway to the Annapurna region. Stay in Naya Pul for the evening.
Inclusions: Breakfast (Choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water, juice, soft drinks); transportation; lunch (Choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water); accommodations
Day 4: Your expedition begins! This first day is a tough one. From the trailhead of Naya Pul, reach the village of Tirkhedhunga (1540m). Passing through the rhododendron forests, watch out for langur monkeys.
Approximately 4 hours trekking
Inclusions: All meals (Choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water), park entrance fee, trekking permit,; accommodations
Day 5: From Tirkhedhunga, continue your ascent to Ghorepani. Gaining over 1200m this day, you’ll be exhausted, but triumphant as you enter the hilltop village and get your first views of the Annapurna range. Tired legs are to be expected and a rest day will be appreciated.
Approximately 5-7 hours trekking
Inclusions: All meals (Choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water); accommodations
Day 6: Rest day in Ghorepani (2800m). Ghorepani is a beautiful village at the top of a hill. You can rest in the village itself or trek 45 minutes to get to Poon Hill, known as one of the best vantage points for taking in the Himalayan dawn and enjoying the view of the mountains.
Optional 2 hours trekking
Inclusions: All meals (Choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water); accommodations
Day 7: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2600m). Your gradual descent has begun! This trek takes around 5 hours. You ascend for two hours, stop for tea at Deurali, then descend down to Banthanti. Enjoy the picturesque waterfalls along the way.
Approximately 5 hours trekking
Inclusions: All meals (Choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water); accommodations
Day 8: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m). Walk through pristine forests and move into the alpine region where you reach the famous village of Ghandruk.
Approximately 4-5 hours trekking

Day 9: Rest day in Ghandruk (1940m). Ghandruk is a one of the most famous villages in Nepal, renowned for its natural beauty and terraced fields that open up to views of the surrounding peaks.

Day 10: Ghandruk to Pothana. (1890m). Pothana is a beautiful village where you can get tasty sukuti (roasted dry meat). The views of the mountains will still accompany you.

Day 11: Pothana to Pokhara. Take the return route to Pokhara while you bask in the accomplishment of the trek.
