What was your first adventure?
When I was 12 years old, I was going to the airport with my dad. We were running late for a flight, and he looked at me and said “you can park this right?” So at 12, I parked the car while he ran into the airport to the ticket booth. We caught the flight.
Why did you start OneSeed Expeditions?
I had been working in microfinance in Nepal and really cared about small enterprise development. I tried to get up to the mountains as much as possible. It was also an excuse to get up to the mountains! OneSeed became a way to use one to power the other.
Do you prefer shoes, sandals, or bare feet?
How has travel shaped your life?
I no longer have to travel for vacations. Vacations are getting to come home.
How do you eat an Oreo cookie?
As fast as possible with a big glass of milk.
