North Carolina native Lauren Linzer has spent the past five years transitioning from corporate America to exploring the world. Graduating with a degree in Marketing from Appalachian State University, she began her sales career with a large multinational organization covering the southeast United States. After three years she shifted her focus to international travel. She explored Israel, backpacked through Europe, and taught English in Madrid, Spain. In her most recent international home of Lanzarote, Spain, a small Canary Island and natural biosphere off the coast of Africa, she served as marketing director for a local tourism company. As a freelance travel writer, she documented her many experiences abroad, providing several articles and columns in various publications. She is a free spirited adventure lover with an ultimate mission to share her passion for travel and discovery with others.
