Kale Sherpa Pinasa | Lead Guide – Khumbu Region

If you’re fortunate enough to have Kale as your guide, prepare yourself for some fun.  Our resident jokester, Kale brings laughter and positivity to every situation.  With over two decades of experience in the mountains, Kale is also our team’s Khumbu region expert.  If you’re heading towards Everest, you can’t find a better guide than Kale.

 




Goma Thapa | Lead Guide – Langtang Region

With five years of guiding and portering experience, Goma is an expert in the Lantang and Annapurna regions of Nepal.  After training as a porter, Goma achieved the rank of guide in 2007 and spends nearly every day of the trekking season on the trail.  When she’s not leading expeditions through the Himalaya, she’s completing her B.A. in Kathmandu.

 




Chitra Subba | Lead Guide – Annapurna Region

From eastern Nepal, Chitra grew up not far from the slopes of Kangchenjunga, the world’s third highest peak. With more than a decade of guiding experience, he brings a strong knowledge of local geography, culture, and history on every trip he leads. Chitra is the consummate professional and a true leader in the field.

 




Kanchhi Sherpa | Guide

Born in the Khumbu region surrounding Mt. Everest, Kanchi has been leading expeditions throughout Nepal for more than 13 years. Among the first independent women guides in Nepal, Kanchi brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every expedition she leads. Kanchhi is a true pioneer among women guides in Nepal.

 




Man Prasad Tamang | Guide

With 10 years of experience in mountains and a background in teaching, Man Prasad brings a unique perspective to his role as a trip leader. When he’s not leading trips in the Himalaya, he’s completing his master’s in education. Although one of our youngest guides, Man Prasad’s experience and ability make him a true asset to our team.
