This expedition includes 6 days of trekking in Northern Patagonia and 4 nights’ accommodations in Santiago.

Day 1: Santiago (1,706ft/520m). Upon your arrival to Santiago’s international airport, a OneSeed staff member will be there to greet you and take you to our partner bed and breakfast, located within walking distance from La Moneda, Chile’s Presidential Palace. Catch up on some much needed sleep and settle into Chile’s capital city.

Inclusions: Private transfer from airport; accommodations

Day 2: Santiago (1,706ft/520m). Head out on a guided city bike tour with a visit to a local market in Santiago, one of Latin America’s most modern cities. Meet your fellow expedition members at tonight’s welcome dinner where you get to enjoy and share some of Chile’s traditional dishes and its national drink, Pisco Sour! After dinner, complete a final gear check before heading to bed.

Inclusions: Breakfast (choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water, juice, soft drinks. Other options available for guest purchase); guided bike tour; Welcome dinner at local restaurant (vegetarian option available); accommodations

Day 3: Santiago (1,706ft/520m). It’s time to sip! Head to Chile’s famous Maipo Valley to mountain bike through 3 local vineyards, complete with lunch spread and wine tasting.

Inclusions: Breakfast (choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water, juice, soft drinks. Other options available for guest purchase); guided biking tour; accommodations

Day 4: Santiago to Puerto Varas (16ft/5m). Head to Chile’s Lake District. After a short flight to Puerto Montt (1.5 hours), head toward Puerto Varas and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the glacier-formed valleys and enormous lakes while on the road. Spend the night in a cozy lodge in Puerto Varas.

Inclusions: All meals (choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water, juice, soft drinks. Other options available for guest purchase); airport transfer; domestic flight; accommodations

Day 5: Puerto Varas to Callao (1,476ft/2450m). Begin the day with an hour-long boat ride to the trailhead in El Rincon. Starting the trek with a view of Lago Todos Los Santos, head through open fields and lush forests, eventually arriving at the Callao Hot Springs. Spend the night in a rustic lodge with access to these hot springs that keep a constant temperature near 104 degrees.

Approximately 6-7 hours of travel and trekking

Inclusions: All meals (choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water. Other options available for guest purchase); boat transportation; accommodations

Day 6: Callao (1,476ft/450m). Beginning with the most challenging day, climb Cerro Cenizo to reach a spectacular viewpoint. Upon returning to the lodge, you can once again soak your tired bodies in the natural springs of Callao.

Approximately 6-7 hours of trekking.

Day 7: Callao to Laguna Los Quetros (2,165ft/660m). On the third day of trekking, head toward Laguna Los Quetros, a dazzling blue lake surrounded by rolling hills and impressive peaks. Camp near the lake for the evening. Be sure to taste some of the local honey, bread, and berries offered from the farm nearby!

Approximately 4-5 hours of trekking

Day 8: Laguna Los Quetros to Las Gaviotas (36ft/11m). On the final leg of the trek, pass several farms before arriving to Lake Repunco in Las Gaviotas. This is the perfect spot to take in the view one last time and enjoy a final night before returning to Santiago. Apple orchards, roaming sheep,and a warm shower await you!

Approximately 3-4 hours of trekking

Day 9: Las Gaviotas to Santiago (1,706ft/520m). Take an hour-long boat ride to the trailhead and head back to Puerto Montt. A short flight from Puerto Montt returns you to Santiago to enjoy a free day of unwinding from the trek and exploring the bustling streets of the city.

Day 10: Santiago (1,706ft/520m). International flights depart.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 60 days or more prior to your scheduled departure for this adventure then you will be able to reschedule or be reimbursed the full cost of this adventure net the non-refundable deposit of $1000.00. If any cancellation is made less than 60 days prior to your scheduled departure for this adventure then you will lose the complete value of your experience.

Refund Policy

If your adventure must be canceled due to circumstances outside of your own (e.g. weather or size of party), we will work with you to reschedule for no extra fees. If rescheduling is not possible, you will be reimbursed the total amount of your purchase, net a 20% administrative fee. All discounted and promotional offers made through third-party partners are non-refundable.
