This expedition includes 15 days of trekking, 2 nights’ accommodation in the city of Pokhara and 3 nights’ accommodation in the capital city of Kathmandu.

Day 1: Kathmandu (4,593ft/1400m). We pick you up at the airport. Arrive in Kathmandu and check into our OneSeed partner lodge in the heart of the ancient city of Patan. Catch up on some much-needed sleep and venture out for some dinner on your own.

Day 2: Kathmandu (4,593ft/1400m). Spend the day exploring the Kathmandu Valley. Shake the jetlag with a visit to Swayambhunath, the “Monkey Temple”. Take in the views of the city from atop one of the most important Buddhist stupas in Nepal before spending the afternoon exploring the city on your own. Join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner banquet.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Naya Pul (3,510ft/1070m) Travel by van or jeep to Naya Pul, near to the magnificent Fewa Tal, Begnas and gateway to the Annapurna region. Stay in Naya Pul for the evening.

Inclusions: Breakfast (Choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water, juice, soft drinks); lunch (Choice of 2 options including vegetarian, coffee, tea, water. Other options available for guest purchase); transportation; double occupancy accommodations

Day 4: Naya Pul to Tirkhedhunga (5,052ft/1540m). Your expedition begins! This first day is a tough one. From the trailhead of Naya Pul, reach the village of Tirkhedhunga. Passing through the rhododendron forests, watch out for langur monkeys.

Approximately 4 hours trekking

Day 5: Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (9,393ft/2860m). Gaining over 4,300ft/1310m this day, you’ll be exhausted, but triumphant as you enter the hilltop village and get your first views of the Annapurna range. Tired legs are to be expected.

Approximately 5-7 hours of trekking

Day 6: Ghorepani to Tadapani (8,629ft/2600m). You ascend for two hours, stop for tea at Deurali, then descend down to Banthanti. Enjoy the picturesque waterfalls along the way.

Day 7: Tadapani to Chomrong (7,119ft/2170m). Pass through Chule, a beautiful little village on a green ridge, and soak in the views of Kimrang Khola. After a steady ascent, reach Chomrong, one of the last villages on your trek inside the Annapurna Sanctuary.

Approximately 4 hours of trekking

Day 8: Chomrong to Himalaya Hotel (9,580ft/2920m). From Chomrong, pass through Sinuwa Danda, and move through the thick forests to climb to Himalaya Hotel.

Approximately 6 hours of trekking

Day 9: Himalaya Hotel to Machhapuchre Base Camp (12,139ft/3700m). Hike through pristine forests, moving into the alpine region where you will reach Base Camp of the famed Machhapuchre, also known as Mt. Fishtail. This is a tough day!

Day 10: Machhapuchre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (13,550ft/4130m). Now the terrain becomes more rugged.

Approximately 2 hours of trekking

Day 11: Annapurna Base Camp (13,550ft/4130m). Take in the views and let those tired legs rest. You’ve made it!

Day 12: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (7,579ft/2310m). Start your descent from the Annapurna Base Camp. It’s (almost) all downhill from here.

Approximately 5-7 hours trekking

Day 13: Bamboo to Jhinu (5,840ft/1780m). Weather permitting, the Jhinu Hot Springs will be a welcomed luxury for tired bodies.

Approximately 3-4 hours trekking

Day 14: Jhinu to Landruk (5,135ft/1565m). Enjoy a short trek to the picturesque village of Landruk.  Surrounded by lush, terraced, rice paddies, rest your legs while taking in panoramic views of the Annapurna range.

Approximately 3-4 hours trekking

Day 15: Landrunk to Pothana (6,201ft/1890m). Pothana is a beautiful village where you can get tasty sukuti (roasted dry meat) and enjoy some of the last clear views of the Annapurna range.

Approximately 3-4 hours trekking

Day 16: Pothana to Pokhara (2,900ft/884m). Take the return route to Pokhara while you bask in the accomplishment of the trek.

Approximately 3-4 hours trekking

Day 17: Rest day in Pokhara (2,900ft/884m). Spend this rest day by the lake, taking in the views and enjoying your first hot shower in days!

Day 18: Pokhara to Kathmandu (4,593ft/1400m). Travel by van or jeep to Kathmandu. Join the rest of your group for a farewell banquet in Kathmandu.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 60 days or more prior to your scheduled departure for this adventure then you will be able to reschedule or be reimbursed the full cost of this adventure net the non-refundable deposit of $1000.00. If any cancellation is made less than 60 days prior to your scheduled departure for this adventure then you will lose the complete value of your experience.

Refund Policy

If your adventure must be canceled due to circumstances outside of your own (e.g. weather or size of party), we will work with you to reschedule for no extra fees. If rescheduling is not possible, you will be reimbursed the total amount of your purchase, net a 20% administrative fee.
